Sarah J. Maas: How I Write - A Book and a Latte

The first author I am going to defend is Cassandra Clare. First of all she is writing a middle-grade series with Holly Black called the Magisterium. And second of all creating a whole new world Is easier said than done.

If you took alot of time to create this magnificent world why would you not continue writing in it? And Cassandra Clare is the type of author whose books she puts get better the more she writes. Second of all nobody is forcing us readers to buy those books,we just buy them because we enjoy them and third of all Cassandra Clare can do whatever the hell she wants with the Shadowhunter world because she created it and if you haters are so pissed off about her writing more books in the Shadowhunter world, guess what, you do not have to read them so stop complaining about it.

Terry Pratchett, one of the most successful authors out there, wrote almost 40 books in the same world and BTW I was so pissed about HPCC because it was so obvious that it was published for money. They thought "Hey,we are not making enough money with the play lets just publish the script and while we are at it lets publish also the Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them screenplay and throw the Potteemore ebooks in the mix"And it was not even good.

So those people who say that Cassandra Clare is just writing for money, you should just shut up because you have no effing right to tell an author what and what not to do when it comes to writing their novels. BTW if the books were shit people would stop buying them.

The second thing I am going to defend her on is the plagiarism situation. I am just so pissed at this author and how convenient that she accused CC of plagiarism 10 years or so after her debut. Kenyon can shut her mouth. Author 2,is going to be Sarah.

Yes,this is one of my main complaints about her books BUT maybe she does not know how to write diverse characters in her books and people who are so mad about this should just stop reading her books and go find something else to READ. Maas maybe will do that in the future but she has to her research and maybe she does not feel comfortable writing about something she may know nothing of.

The third can go to any author who has a famous series like George. I totally understand you because I would be angry if I have been kept waiting for many years but you cannot rush an author to write a book because when you rush things, the result will not be good and it is their world and their story and it may take some time to get it done and do it well.Auto Suggestions are available once you type at least 3 letters.

Maas fans, so I thought I’d try finding a few other books/series that you may . I bow down to Sarah J Maas’ story telling. I have not liked Chaol since the second half of the Crown of Midnight. Also with the last book finishing with Aelin in such a precarious position I personally did not want to wait an extra year to find out what happened to her.

One thing writers hate doing but will inevitably have to do (one day or another, at least) is the Dreaded Synopsis. An agent may request it in his/her submission materials, or an editor might want it once your agent has you out on subs. Sarah J.
